Pamela's has come out with a new shortbread cookie. My sister found this at her local grocer. It said it was "gently sweetened with agave"
Still gluten free.
But the agave did have a slight flavor that I was unfamiliar with.
Not bad, just unfamiliar.
It appears the Blue box is the only one to change. But others might be coming.
Agave is a plant. Looks a little like Aloe. So in that sense it is "natural sweetener".
And it's not new to the grocery store. People make tequila with it.
My tummy has it's own independent issues right now so I can't tell you how I handled it. But I would love to know what other people think.
