I just stumbled across this "group"
Apparently they do recipes, based on a ratio, and then have a challenge each month.
It appears to be based on Michael Ruhlman's book "Ratio: The Simple Codes Behind the Craft of Everyday Cooking"
I completely agree that baking should really be done by weight, but who has the time?
I got a very good food scale, about 8 years ago, but it's relegated to the top shelf with the waffle iron and other appliances that don't get much use.
Well these ladies inspire me.
I'll be getting that scale down for the Christmas cookie baking.
